Carolina Giron-Montalvo is a Help Desk Technician at ECC IT Solutions, LLC.
Carolina’s responsibilities include providing remote and onsite customer technical support by collecting trouble tickets, analyzing issues, carrying out solutions, escalating issues, and tracking tickets to completion.
Prior to joining ECC IT, Carolina worked as Desktop Support Technician at the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where she responded to internal and external client requests and provides technical support and training to end users; Identified, researched, and resolved technical issues; escalated complex inquiries; and provided end-user troubleshooting and support for staff and faculty encompassing desktop, laptop, applications, printers, operations, and software. Prior to NIDCD, she worked as a Desktop Support Technician at the Library of Congress, where she served as the front-line representative to end-user community and performed trouble-shooting and diagnostic services to resolve incidents and requests. She has also worked in the Office of the Chief at the U.S. Department of Energy and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
Carolina graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications. She has over eight years of information technology experience and is skilled in troubleshooting technical issues, working with operating systems, and configuring hardware, software, and networks.
Carolina is fluent in both English and Spanish.
